I had some myself today but felt that it maybe wasn't appropriate to post. Like you, it's only good news for me but it has made me smile
I just happened to be looking at the Kurt Geiger website again today and they just happened to have had the same shoes that they cancelled off my order last week; in my size too do I have ordered themsomeone had returned them which is why they were available again
That is my good thing for today
What is everyone else's?
I got home and postie had delivered a card he had tried to deliver two items a long letter recorded sign for and a packet. Packet probably cheerios the letter i have no idea.
Picking them up from post office up road on friday.
Thought i would also share this i had to work at another school kitchen today. I was looking out of the window thinking of Alan and Susan and you can see T's out of the window so i renamed it 3Dogs for today .0 -
Just shows the warmth of feeling to Mr & Mrs 3Dogs. A demonstration of the high esteem we hold Susan that people went out of their way to light a candle. It seemed an appropriate virtual tribute to someone most of us only know in the virtual world.
Between posters and lurkers on this thread, the debt-free thread and Susan said she had sent the link to some people she knew and the total candles is around 200.
Virtual hugs all round.
It just goes to show the strength of feeling on here

Just got in from work and so have only just read the news the Alan sadly passed away last night
My sincerest condolences to Susan ., Even though i never met Alan i can honestly say that with all of the lovely updates that you brought to MSE of your time together it has always been us if you and Alan were here in person talking and laughing with us all.
I am going to find the link to light a candle and will be back at 8pm to join everyone in raising a glass in memory of Alan

My good news is that after reading here this morning I phoned my 85 yr old Gran and took her out for lunch. I spend very little time with her at the moment and it was lovely to be with her.:)0
