Mmmmmmmmmmm lard sarnie  I use lard/butter 50/50 to make my welsh cakes as I use a recipe that my great gran got off her mother (and who knows where she got it from)
Lard sarnie! lol...that reminds me of the time I was 'courting' my other half and I made a cheesecake to take round to his parents house for after sunday dinner.
His dad asked what it was, then the next thing we knew, he put his portion of cheesecake between two slice of bread! :rotfl:0 -

A question for those down south!
I am going to the south coast to visit my sister and we are staying at Butlins.
Anyway, on our way back to Scotland I want to stop somewhere between Bognor and Sheffield for the kids to be entertained for a few hours. We have £10 Travelodge rooms in Sheffield for a night.
Any suggestions?
Hi, Which travelodge are you going to be staying in?
With regard to the kids, what sort of thing would they like to do.
Plenty of things but of course it depends on their interests.:)
Kelham Island museum is good (under 16's free entry)

Other museums.

Western park itself is a nice place to visit too, its next to the museum.
Not in sheffield itself but close by

Yeah I love it to, although I think I prefer them on the ice!
You would think I was in the truck with them the way I'm jumping about in my seat though! OH keeps telling me to sit at peace:rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Yeah I remember him!
I'm not too keen on the heights myself, wouldn't catch me up there anytime soon!
Not too keen on the American guy with the square jaw (can't remember his name now) but he's rather odd, think if I was stuck in the truck with him I'd be getting out and walking :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
