Morning everyone, not raining this morning, but it sure looks like it's gonna.

My laptop keeps freezing and it's driving me mad. Sometimes pressing F5 brings it back with a message about the driver failed to respond but has recovered, and sometimes it wont come back at all. I end up unplugging it. I've taken the battery out as I had to keep dropping the battery out to clear it. Then I have to keep re-entering passwords when using it again, even though they are supposed to be remembered. My patience level is zero these days and I feel like flinging it (which is not very MSE)

Will have a google before I take it in somewhere:o I'm not a very techie person.

I would be strongly inclined to report the store to CS (and emphasise the fact you have taken the trouble to call them and not Trading Standards). Anything that is edible has to have a clearly marked sell-by date by law.
