Facebook question. Do you have a separate facebook ID just for MSE/ coupons/ offers etc I get friends asking me why I like'd Tropicana etc
and if so, do you use your real name (or your real name with MSE / Martin etc) in it, or a made up name?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Afternoon everyone!
I thought I'd seen it all regarding Pricecheck/Pricepromise vouchers, but no...
On my trip to T's today I used a couple of price flop/mag coupons on an SS till then went to use my jtd voucher to pay. The light went on and I waited for the SA to arrive. When she came she looked at the voucher, allowed it then proceeded to rip off the barcode:eek:! I told her no, that she'd need the whole thing and I got a strange look and a shrug. Then she looked at the till and said that I couldn't use it cos I only had 20p to pay so she'd end up giving me money and that would be wrong. (obviousy never met an eliter then);) :rotfl:
I was confused at this point as she tried to give me back the (now badly ripped) jtd voucher:eek:. Looking at the screen I could see that the amount had already come off so pointed to show her. She looked back and to from voucher to screen for a bit and then said ok, inserted the voucher in the slot and walked off (clearly needing a break from this difficult transaction).
I paid my 20p and quickly left before I lost my composure and laughed out loud. No wonder Tesco are having problems with abuse of the jtd if even supervisors who have been there since 2005 don't know how it works!:rotfl:
It's only a game

OMG OMG OMG
If i wasnt on my phone this post would be littered with massive smilies. Feel free to add any if you quote the message in a reply
Ok here goes....
Ladies and gentlemen. I am happy to report that the £10 Price Porkies cap is NOT in place yet because i just got back £16.xx from a womble!!! It also has 120+ points and was paid in cash so those points are going to be getting claimed
Thank you to the person who did this massive shop and for being so
careless with your spending and your receipt.
My best wombled APG was £12.20 and before now my best Ts womble was £3. The most unclaimed points i've found on a single receipt was under 100. This has smashed all previous efforts
Now i hope i get home and find a double points coupon in the post. i have some serious planning to do for my next shop to use up this beauty and a £9wys£60 wombled till spit.
Woohooooooo
ETA. Main contribution was from various flavoured 70cl smirnoffs. £16.50 in Ts/£12.50 in AsApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Just a quick :hello: to everyone.
Only got chance to read back a couple of pages, life busy busy. Hope not missed anything over the weekend, I have not been to Ts since Thursday. Lucky I somehow have enough things in to keep us going.
My mum is doing ok. She is forgetting lots of things though, and can't even remember that I have always gone in to do her main meal before she went in hospital. Good job she is not strong enough to try and cook for herself at the moment.
Hope everyone is well, just logged on as want to check how Alan is doning and see if 3dogs has done an update.
Take care all of you lovely people. x0 -
