On mysupermarket there is a new button which says "price alert" - I am not sure how this works - does it do as it says on the tin, alert you if the price falls?
Or alert you if there is any change in price in any store???
Is this new or have I jsut missed it?
I am thinkign it could be good if you have long date pdf MOCs so you can see if the price of an item goes to an acceptable level? Or even a short dated safecoupon for an item that might possibly go on offer.
Walking to Sainsburys yesterday I found a 24p brand match MOC on the side of the kerb by the zebra crossing - deep joy. It was even in date“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Went to Mr A today and there was a bit of a scene at whoopsie time.
First of all the fruit and veg was all taken by one lady who slung it all at the lad and he dutifully put 10p stickers on it all, then she started pointing at things and just saying "that"...in the end he refused to do any more and she flounced off. We started talking about it and he said she is in there every day and thinks he works solely for her.
Later at the meat aisle there was one lady who tried to snatch a piece of steak out of my hand and told me it was already hers, I politely explained that it was already in my hand and no, she should not try to snatch. She then turned to a man next to me that had picked up an identical piece of meat and said "thats mine", he told her to get lost and she went on her way with her dozen or so packs.
Finally, on final reductions they had bought out loads of other things and all were being marked 10p so really hard to actually get near the counter but one lady had a full trolley and she was snatching every single item.
On closer inspection I noticed the trolley was entirely filled with 10p items and the sa was telling her she was not allowed any more as it was unfair.
She ignored him and kept loading the trolley and all of a sudden he made a call and the store manager, security and two more sa people arrived and took her to one side.
It turns out she does this daily and they warned her that they could take some of it away or something.
She started getting really angry so they led her to the till and advised her that she would have to buy every item in the trolley.
She got really flustered and was seen later at the tills with a very worried look on her face.
The sa that served me said she does all sorts from changing labels to returning things back to reduced to get more discounts.
It was quite scary but I was really pleased that they are cracking down as I had stopped looking for reductions as it was a closed shop.
Finally got some nice figs for 10p any ideas what to use them for???0 -
Doing my first wash in the dishwasher- never used one before. I have put salt in a finish power ball and rinse aid, what a palaver! Lol. Do I need the salt and rinse aid if I use the finish power ball?
Nothing interesting in my Ts today.
As you live in a soft water area you won't need to replace the salt that often. My dishwasher has an indicator that tells me when rinse aid is needed.Born to glitch0 -

Sounds like we could make a movie thriller with some of the scenes above.

Good evening everyone xxxx
Ive just come back from some retail therapy...
If anyone has broken or need to replace a Denby brown plate and dishes they are on offer in TK Maxx... I think the plate was £3.99 and dishes were £3.49..
Nothing exciting happening in T's, Fathers day socks still scan at 50p..
No beef, the Fajita kits scanned at £2.00... no cheese... all in all I got nothing that I was searching for.
Frequent Good luck tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you..
Has Mr 3dos come out of hospital yet?? any news??
I did managed a couple of the WHS giftcards and I got a few bits and bobs in Clinton..
I did treat myself to Paris perfume in Debenhams, I had £20 voucher for opening a credit card account so it only cose me £13 as it was on offer..
Apart from that nothing else to report...
We seriously need a global glitch... ASAP!!!!!!!
Whats happened to Fudge_cake??? I miss her updates, is she ok??? xxxx0
