Afternoon everyone, thanks FK for the new thread. I will try to post more on this one but you lot talk so fast I struggle to keep up (and never have anything interesting to say anyway:rotfl:)
Can I just say the old thread was so emotional, I laughed and cried so many times and feel honoured to be a tiny part of the Elite. So massive hugs to all of you whether you need one or not at the minute.

Happy birthday BSB for today too

Just done the quiz and got one that sent me down memory lane

What group had hits with "We've Only Just Begun" and "Sing"?

    The Hollies
    The Rascals
    The Cowsills
    The Carpenters

Had "We've only just begun" for our processional when we got married more than 27 years ago, and it is still a very emotive song for me when I hear it. The funny thing is MIL did not know the words until we told her we were having it, looked them up and promptly burst into tears!

Ah, the carpenters... we had "Close to You" (instead of a hymn) sung at our wedding ceremony, along with classical music. All the guests ended up singing along and swaying from siide to side - watching the video later on was so funny:rotfl:

Had a carp day so far.. after DS had a nap this morning, i decided to get in bed too. I'd been there about 4 mins before he woke up!! I felt worse. Another hour of crying and "my eye is sore" ensued so i got an emergency appt at the docs for him. He said that along with his cols, it seems to have affected hiis sinuses, which is why his left eye is half closed and purple underneath. Gave him more paracetamol and ibuprofen and put him to bed at 2.15. He's flat out so I'm going to have a little snooze myself (I've been up since 430am :()
      Will be back later

But before I go, big hugs to Tinyshoes - hope you and your mum have good news from the MRI

I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

Needed petrol and was holding out for today for the 2p reduction in T's prices; same price in T as our other petrol station - don't know if that is a reduction or not, but it wasn't a reduction for me.

Hoping to find a 5p petrol coupon, but the car park was the cleanest it had ever been. If I didn't know that nannylala was away I would have thought she had been there before me!
