Chicken in the oven for soup. Staple diet for the next couple of days. Hopefully my stomach is going to behave itself now. meerkatsmimm wrote: »Were you told delivery could possibly be so early? If not I'd be inclined to kick off. Currys do early morning deliveries/collections but they phone in advance to confirm and nothing earlier than 8am
Added: just checked John Lewis website and they state from 7.30am, possibly earlier, but my understanding would be that if they chose to be there earlier they need to advise you, I'd insist they bring it out today or compensate you tbh ggggrrrrrrr
They wouldn't budge, I explained about my fil's funeral yesterday which was why we hadn't stayed at the house last night. They reckon delivery peeps waited until it was just time for delivery and then left. I did a bit of begging but nope.

Do you have a freezer? If so freeze ice blocks/bottles of water/bags of water, then use a cool bag to keep a few essentials (like milk) chilled until tues?
Or does anyone have a mini fridge like this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9248825/Trail/searchtext%3EMINI+FRIDGE.htm you could borrow? Or buy one like this and stick it on Ebay when you are done as they sell well
Or look on ebay for a mini fridge you can collect locally

FloFlo, when I was a child, we didn't have a fridge and during the summer we used to keep our milk bottles in a bucket of cold water. My parents used to change the water as soon as it got warm. How did I get to be so old?0

Good morning elite,
Yesterday I went into T*sc* to buy cereal and
I could not see any of the free cereal bowls. It was
Not advertises either,
So I asked a SA and she said they didn't have any!
I then asked my favourite SA at the meat fridge and
He went out the back and brought me out a box of bowls.
He said there are loads of cereal bowls out the back.
So if you don't see any signs for the free cereal bowl ask
Then ask again. I hope this makes sense! :T

 currently have a bath full of lego being cleaned, DS2 decided he wanted to be a big boy wearing pants like his brother so took his nappy off him and brought the potty into the front room for him, (he is 3 and has previously showed no signs of being ready for training), he sits on the potty quite happily but doesn't do anything, 5 mins later i get 'mummy i done wee', he's only gone and done it in the lego box:mad:0
