Just spent the last hour with DS crying his eyes out :( Along with his fever and snotty nose, he keeps saying his eyes are sore and asking me to wipe them but still saying "ow". He has little purple bags under them cos of lack of sleep....i gave him some calpol (we've reached the ibuprofen limit now) and ten mins later, he zonked out in my arms. So I've put him up to bed. Got the monitor on him and the door ajar so I'll be able to hear but he has given me a bit of a fright.

I've got a routine midwife appt at 3.15pm today... debating whether to cancel or see how he is nearer the time and take him with me. Not ideal but needs must and all that..

God, I hope today picks up, I'm running on empty already....:o

Maybe mushrooms on toast will revive me :rotfl::rotfl:

I had mushrooms on toast with a poached duck egg and baked beans after I saw the thread title, sadly the dog was outside barking at a blackbird so missed out on some egg she wasn't happy when she came in to see an empty plate :rotfl:

Tiger I hope your wee man perks up :( Just wondering could he have hayfever - my wee man is terrible with it and when its really bad he temp spikes and last week when they cut the field next door he had a temp of 39.9:eek: He has a constant runny nose but is not sick - but is drowsy and his eyes are heavy and really sore - normal hayfever meds did nothing for him and he had to get an injection and is on some strong longer lasting drug and eye drops ? Just wondering if this could be part of it for you too?

    Hope hes better soon x

The blue Tesco bags are so cool! I like them a lot. Tesco shopping looks more trendy now.
Pink is so not my colour :undecided
