coming off JSA for part time work

Hello,

My OH has the chance of part time work 24 hours a week:j

Can any one advise.
He has very little in the way of clothes , mainly charity shop, although i work full time , not a lot of spare cash at the moment
could he ask for help to get a couple of pairs of jeans & tops.

he will work a month in hand

no work uniform would be provided

    If your OH is claiming JSA and has a job offer in writing he can take it to his JSA adviser and ask for help with clothing through the Flexible Support Fund (FSF), they should definately be able to fund something for him as long as the job is permanent and full-time (over 16 hours per week).
