Mortgages

Hi All,

Just a quicky.....

I sold my house over 18 months ago due to mortgage arrears and came out of it with paying the legal chaps an extra £2,000 just to finalise the sale and get out of it.

We are now living in a private rented house and sick of paying out dead money. What my question is this. Although I have had mortage arrears, debt (still) and defaults are there companies out there that will provide a 95% mortage to the likes of me.

Im working as is my wife but we do need a bigger house and if we have paid our rent for the last 2 years on time, shurly this shows we can pay a mortage again.

The other main problem I have is I closed a limited company down 12 months ago as it was not going to well so all the debts went with the company, but does that look bad on me and my wife as she was the sec of the company. Also one debter of the company slapped me with a £5,000 CCJ in my name and said I was responsible for it, but all the paperwork said my name and the ltd company name as well, so can I get this CCJ dropped?

Anyway.

Thanks all and chat soon.

Brian

It's not anymore dead than paying interest on a mortgage.

This is only my opinion but I think it's crazy to consider buying a property right now and possibly financial suicide.

Have a look at mortgage approvals and the house price surveys.

Do some research and I'm sure you'll change your mind.

Start with this graph and have a think about where you think it's going.

    Good luck.

I can see what your saying even I can see the current market is way over priced. So possibly a wait of 12 months might see a drop in the market and a decrease in house proces.

    Thanks.
