Car loans/unsecured loans...heellppp

As someone not very used to using the net to search for a loan, I neeeed HELP - as a discharged bankrupt, with 2 satisfied ccj's and a now improving credit rating, I am looking to get 10K un secured loan to buy a second hand car. I am hoping to get a yes from my bank, and have allready found some "dodgy" brokers wanting to charge an upfront fee to get your"gauranteed decision" - can anyone point me in a simple sensible direction?
