Who issued the CCJ

Hello. I just found out from Noddle that I have an active CCJ against me, issued on 22/9/11 at an address that I moved from in Dec 2010.

I have the CCJ number, is there any way that I can see who issued it as there is very limited information on my report, just an amount, date and the court name.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

Thanks.

Phone the court who issued and ask?

Or check trust online http://www.trustonline.org.uk/ which may show it? But costs you.

  • Thank you. I have paid the £4 to trust but they gave me no more info than I'd already had for free from Noddle!

I'll give the court a try tomorrow.

Which is why I mentioned ringing the court first, and only "may show" for trust online.

Sorry. Should have made that clearer. :o

Let us know what they say.

Registry Trust will have the full details, and as the Pusuer is the instigator of the action, I'd get back on to them to fill in the missing info or give you your fee back.
  • Well, after a few phone calls I discover I owe T mobile £264 for a contract phone from 2007. They have been writing to an address I moved from 2 years ago which is where the CCJ was issued to.
I have now paid over half and will clear the balance next month, so hopefully that will be the end of that.
Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

Ah! so the debt was post BR not pre BR. Just checking as some people will pay out when they don't have to.

  • Thanks for the thought. I checked the date of the default before I paid anything.
As it was for a fairly small amount I thought the quicker it's off my record the better as it seems to be the only bad mark against me.
    Onwards and upwards!!

    :D
