One of my toe nails has gone white and thick, apparently its some kind of fungal infection of the nail. Aside from a course of antibiotics is there anything from the chemist that anyone found similarly effective?......I'm thinking along the lines of ClearZal & the Excilor product

Curanail should work, but its expensive and takes 3-6 months of weekly treatment to go. (you can get it on prescription under the name loceryl.

Antibiotics won't help - you need an antifungal. It can take up to six months depending on how fast your nails grow. The GP will prescribe antifungals after some clippings have been tested to show that it is a fungal problem.0
