Hello!! all new to this.... been sitting on the edge for a while - please can some one advise as to if you get taxed on a company car?? I am looking at potitions and they advertise them - but my OH says that you get taxed more for them? is this true?

Yes, they get taxed as a benefit in kind. The amount of additional tax depends on the list price of the car, CO2 emissions etc.Thinking critically since 1996....0

Yes you do get taxed and, if you do end up in a position with a company car, make sure the company declares that you have it and your tax code is correct. HMRC will soon send you a large bill if not...trust me
