Can't update avatar

I'm having problems updating my avatar (using pictures stored on my PC). I get the message 'Upload of file failed'. I've never had problems before.

Is this just me?

    Is your pic too big?

    "The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 32.0 KB (whichever is smaller)."
