Job interview clothing.... Advice?

I think a good quality, well fitting jacket would look absolutely fine with a smart, business-style dress but wear tights, don't go bare legged. Have smart, polished shoes and a nice handbag.
A pair of smart trousers with a neat shirt would also be acceptable in my view, again with the polished shoes & bag.
I remember years ago, we were interviewing for an office junior and one girl turned up wearing an oversized t.shirt with a big picture of Mickey Mouse on the front - needless to say she didn't get the job!
Good luck
