Hi all,
Trying to make sense of my credit file! My history is rubbish and score is just over the poor mark (which has considerably raised since last year.)
I have settled all of my debts bar one (from years ago) even now i have a few new ones which i pay money too..... i know i owe the money to littlewoods.. but it was 3 addresses ago and my biggest amount to around the amount of £1900.00
Looking at the file i can see satisfied on 28th April 2007. (i have not paid anything since then after a depute about me signing the initial signature page as i signed up on-line and never returned the paperwork yet they still gave me credit)
Then a new one spring up on my credit file Arrow Global Ltd for roughly the same amount bought in the march and then defaulted 24/12/2007. I know that they can buy the debt but can they default it after the initial date as:
1. This is affecting my credit file
2. I have never received a letter or had any contact off this company
3. I have never had "debt" directly with them
4. The date they registered as default is 8 Months after the whole Littlewoods thing
Lastly as my account with Littlewoods and will be 10 months until this account is Status barred as i understand it... should i leave be??
As i would like all this nasty business cleared up as soon as possible preferably without paying this amount as i simply do not have the resources to pay! but after my littlewoods account is status barred can i then write to them and say !!!!!! off basically?
Any advice would be highly appreciated!!
