Is it okay to spend to save

Hi
I went shopping on sunday to ensure I had everything I needed so I didn't spend at work and somehow ended up spending £80? :embarasse
In theory this should mean that my actual weekly lunch shop will be £15 (after this inital £80) instead of around £35 but I still feel like I've wasted money.

If the balance of your new weekly shop costs less than your weekly shop + work lunches, you actually use the stuff as you intended and you don't chuck things away and buy more lunch anyway, then you made the right choice!
Average the costs over a week - you'll see the difference, hopefully.
Good luckSome days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

I initally brought a tin of coffee (slightly more expensive) with the view of buying bags of coffee to refill it.Total Debt: £4610.75
