Porting a C & G Tracker Mortgage

Does anyone have any experience of how C&G deal with a request to port one of their (at the moment) very low interest life time trackers. (BoE +0.89%) Particularly interested to know if they "make up" new unrealistic lending criteria to try and get rid of these mortgages of their books.

    You simply need to meet the lender's current criteria. Any additional borrowing is offered on one of its current products.

    Look at your original paperwork. We ported and increased our C&G mortgage all at the wonderfully rediculously low rate that we have for the life of the mortgage (were even ok to increase the term!)
