Newbie :)

Hi

So I have finally woken up to the last 5 or so years ofmy life I know as you will read this and some may start judging me and my partner but please don't I know I am young and I expept that I have done wrong

So here goes ( may want to grab a cuppa at his point) this is hard for me to write but I guess being honest with very thing is the first step

It all started in 08 when we moved out of boyfriends parents house we moved into a house owned by family (mistake 1) he agreed we pay lower rent of£500 which we said yes too we had a full tenancy agreement , we before we moved out thought if we could afford it and we could at this point we had a income combined of £2000 and outgoings of £1800 so left £200

About 6 months later my partner lost his job and we spiralled with trying to afford everything on £1000 income £200 jsa and £800 wages, we then applied for housing help and we went to chat to our landlord (being bf family was not easy) to say that we having money issues and he agreed to us having housing help , we got a letter and they agreed to us getting rent and council tax help
At this point credit cards had been used and we got quite high level of this debt

5 months later my bf got a job interview and got the job it was 50 miles away which was a lot of fuel money but a job at this point was a job , my bf informed job centre that he had a job but as he had to leave a 4am they where not open and was told to come back Friday afternoon ... Thought nothing of it and we carried on we got letters few weeks later sAying we under suspicion of benefit fraud ...to cut the long part short with our layers help we are paying it back as we didn't apparently tell them he had a job, also after this our landlord got fed up with him not getting enough money and said he old get double what we where paying him and told us to get out and he gave us 3weeks notice at first but when we pointed out the contract he then gave us 2 months .. So we frantically searched for a house near my bf work and found one so we moved in and here we are

We have since got our life back we on a DMP and are nearly finishes paying back old council ...and no longer speak to old landlord

Sorry for the rant......
