Affordable Wedding Venues in Northampton

Hi,
I'm getting married next year summer-time and the fiancee lives in Northampton so we are planning on holding it over there. I was hoping if anyone could advise me on some affordable venues in Northampton for guests up to 200 people. From what I saw, the only options are hotels or pubs and pubs are out of the question due to the religious nature of the wedding.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Why not research whether Northampton County Council own any historic/old/big buildings suitable as a venue? Government owned buildings usually cost a lot less to hire. for example I found the Guildhall http://www.northampton.gov.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?documentID=862&pageNumber=4 "For Happy Couples who wish to hire the Great Hall, Court Room & Courtyard on the same date we have a fantastic offer rate of £125 per hour (Monday to Saturday only). This offer is exclusive to wedding reception bookings"
Will you be getting married in a church or religious building before your party? What kind of reception are you wanting to have? all day or just afternoon or evening?
The other options are community/village halls, some of which are lovely, but you'll have to hire caterers or DIY.0
