Want to find out amounts owed, don't want details passing on

Hi,
Around five years ago I stupidly took out multiple credit cards and maxed them out while travelling. Rather than face up to paying them all back at the time I moved residence and didn't tell them my new address details.
I now want to pay what I owe and get back on track with my finances (currently with SecureTrustBank, as they didn't require a credit check to open an account).
I'd like to find out how much I owe (should be less than 10k) and to which debt companies. The bind is that I want to do this without alerting them of my new address / details so that I can pay them off one at a time and plan first.
Although I've looked at various credit check/report sites I get the feeling that they add your current details (which I have to enter to use them) to your credit file; which I'm guessing would then mean I'll be wading through red scary letters at my door quite soon after!
Any advice would be very appreciated!
Many thanks

If you want to face this debt, then you may as well get the credit report done and get the ball rolling - you're going to have to face the mail sooner or later.
Get all of the details and put together a SOA and if you want, post it to this site and get some advice.
Congratulations on the first step though.
