mortgage overpayment

Hi Don't know if anyone can advise but we have 9 years left on mortgage and are on a fixed rate of 5.69% with nationwide. I fixed before interest rates dropped like a stone! We have been overpaying by £200 a month but wanted to know if it would be worth moving our mortgage at this point as we have penalties to pay if we leave this fixed rate. Any comments????
Thanks

When does the fixed rate end?
How much do owe?
What is the early exit penalty?0 -
Have a look at the 'Ditch your fix' tab on Martin's Mortgage calculator

You can overpay by upto £500 a month and this would save you 5.69% TAX free so may well be cheaper than remortgage costs0
