Confetti

Confetti - are you having any? If so where are you getting it?

I'm looking at either paper or freeze dried rose petals. I'm really keen on a 'confetti shot' and my photographer says paper or light coloured petals work best. (I would have natural coloured, not dyed, so the colour doesn't run.)

I'd prefer separate packs for each guest, to save faffing around with confetti falling out of cones. However, while £1.50 a pop seems reasonable, with 50 guests £75 sounds a lot for a tiny bit of tissue paper/petals, however conveniently packaged. I've seen some for 59p a pack, but it looked a bit rubbish.

Any suggestions for MSE good quality confetti? (Other than don't have any:rotfl:)

Luckily my guests were more organised than me and brought their own - I never thought of it at all. You could get some but not all,

I'm buying some biodegradable sheets of ebay. Printing our names on it then punching hearts out, kinda like hole punching.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

I bought my confetti from http://www.naturalconfetti.co.uk/default.html.

The petals were lovely (I chose to have the mixed colours Delphinium petals but you can choose different colours) and looked great in our pictures. I got the cones and bought a basket to display them in, but they do sell the bags as well. Seller was really lovely and I would definitely recommend. (Don't know her personally, was just great when I ordered from her)

    These were mine

74jax - could you link to the paper? I like the idea of foil sprinkles on tables but they are so un-eco was thinking of punching something out too but didn't realise you could get such paper on ebay! Thank you!

How long has this gone on for ?? I always thought guests brought their own ! Blimey does even the confetti have to be colour matched now too ?

MSE idea - let people buy their own !

I bought mine from here on Ebay. The personalised packs are closed meant none came out until it was needed.

BTW, blokes won't be fussed about confetti - I bought for the female guests only which cut the cost ;)

Just one thing to consider - some venues don't allow confetti so check first!

Our guests also brought their own. :)

I was just about to say that pink teapot :D

We went to a wedding recently where confetti wasn't allowed so we all had bubbles instead

I managed to bag a bargain with my natural petal confetti here in the sale
    http://shop.confetti.co.uk/category/cheap-confetti

They have run out of the natural petals at the moment but if you're not getting married any time soon, it is worth keeping your eye on.

Mine are presented in little bags with matching ribon handles for 49p each - we have bought 15 to hand out at the door.
