Long life milk bb Feb 2011 - ok to use?

I got a coupon for a free bottle of it about 6 months before this and not too sure if its OK to use.

Its skimmed.

    The BB date might just be a clue. They put Best Before dates on them for a particular reason. Nothing lasts forever, particularly consumables.

    Best before is just that, but I personally wouldn't use it.
    I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

    I wouldn't risk it, uht milk doesn't have very long expiry date like canned food, it's normally only a few months, so 16months is definitely too long in my opinion.

    UHT milk is pretty good nd great if you run out of fresh milk. It's also great if you live aone and find it difficult to use up fresh milk but you don't want to go shopping for basics all the time but when the date comes around I'd not use it.

    The only things I am really careful about following dates on is dairy products...
