Job suitable for someone with depression?

A lady made me some memory bears from my late dh clothes for the children. It was really difficult to find someone, so whilst not being original, I think there is a market for this. I am in touch with lots of widows, and they all like this idea, but don't know how to find someone.
Maybe you can do something similar?Bossymoo

What are you doing to combat/deal with/live with the mental illness? Are you on meds??Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Thank you for the extra suggestions

The memory bears sound like a lovely idea, not come across that before.
@getmoreforless - not really demand for this, or rather there are plenty of people offering it in my area (have tried this route myself also). Sewing skills seem to be a lot like cleaning in that everyone is offering their services now there's a job shortage! I think I need to focus on what I can do/offer differently, trying to come up with ideas of niche markets/original ideas...
@ C_Mababejive - Medication hasn't helped me, and it's generally considered by the psychs that it's not the answer to my problems - they are well aware that I need psychotherapy, however there are problems accessing this on the NHS, although as I mentioned I do seem to be getting past the necessary hurdles, slowly...0 -
I used to sell on Etsy, but have had depression in the past and still struggle when things get stressful etc. Have health problems made worse by stress too. Etsy really did cause me some problems - too many sales (would you believe), difficult customers (none of my uk customers were difficult, just the ones from overseas), too many messages with difficult questions, in the end I had enough. There's also Folksy as a British alternative to Etsy. You could start a blog which show the process of you making your pieces (would also show your writing skills).
I went over to Folksy and it's been just perfect. I sell only what i make, I rarely get a request for a custom order, I rarely have to visit the post office (just print off postage from paypal and stick the parcel in the post box), i don't get bombarded by stupid questions, nothing's gone missing in the post like it did when I sold to the american market.
Highly recommend it
Edit: also, on Etsy I eventually set my shipping to UK only and explicitly stated on every item that i did not ship overseas under any circumstances. I still got bombarded by messages asking if I would ship overseas, and when I politely apologised that I could not because I work full time and have no opportunity to get to a post office I used to get some very snotty answers back which stressed me out even more!Trying to remain free of unsecured debt and build up some savings.
Have done CeFA and CeMAP exams but no longer regulated.0
