Cheap Van hire in London

I need to hire a van for 7 days minimium. Also need to be able to take it internationally to collect stuff.

Advice appreciated. Current prices from internet around £200/ week.

Don't know if Kendall Cars are any cheaper? They do vans, and charge £200 for a transit for 8 days, cheaper if you can get away with something smaller, BUT I think going continental would be extra. Probably only any good if you are SW London.

Wherever you get it from make sure that you are covered for whichever countries you plan (or may need!) to drive through.

My general advice on car hire is to look for smaller places, local garages may offer car hire on the side. But for a van, for a week, leaving the country, you might want to think about the consequences of it going wrong, and therefore be prepared to pay for the peace of mind of a larger operation ... and for a van, get bigger than you think you need if you possibly can, because a) stuff takes up more space than you think b) you don't want to overload it and c) it will make packing it so much easier!
