BR? Feels like my only option

Hi I'm 24 and currently Have around 12k worth of debt, I don't have any assets apart from a tv lol. I have a stable job earning 17500 a year.

I'm in such a mes that I don't know what to do. I have a dmp with cccs and feel like its not working, creditors still writing to me weekly with letters explaining how much I am overdue and one claiming I will invite court costs as I have defaulted.

I owe 4 different pay day loans totalling to around £2250 included above in the amount and these are all harassing me daily for payment.

I can't afford to even pay them anything ad just manage to keep my regulate payments to my dmp. I just feel that the only way to turn would be BR as I have nothing else I can do.

Any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

  • Surely I would excluded from your services now that I have pay day loans, this is why I have not contacted you as I am worried you will refuse me any support

Toni, CCCS will not refuse you help at all and will go through your problems with you and come up with a viable solution.

You may find that a DRO is a more suitable solution for you rather than BR but CCCS will be able to help you decide.

If a DRO is reccomended then pop over to the IVA&DRO board, if BR is a recommendation then carry on posting on here.

You could also contact National Debtline if you want a second opinion http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/

    All the best whatever happens.
