Not sure if this has been mentioned but they have loads of free books to look through, all sorted into types. They are pre-loved and mostly a bit worn but still very readable. Allow a bit of time to rummage through the boxes. You can give a small donation but don't have to.
Visit Healthy Planet’s Books for Free, an initiative run by volunteers who rescue unwanted books destined for landfill or pulping. The books are then redistributed by Healthy Planet via stores nationwide.
Take the opportunity to reduce landfill waste and help recycle valuable resources by selecting a free book on a visit to Books for Free. Healthy Planet has recycled over 55 tonnes of books so far with this valuable service.
A maximum of 5 books can be taken at any one visit.
Healthy Planet is a charity created to inspire, encourage and support individuals and businesses in order to make a difference to themselves, their children and the planet.
