One Stop
Has any one heard of One Stop loans? A friend of mine went on their site and was charged 30.00 GBP for some reason that I can't see when looking on their site! She is very upset about this and is hoping to get the amount reversed by her bank (which I doubt). Sounds like a rip off to me.

I bet they promised to find a loan for your friend if your friend sent them £30.
Why did your friend give them her bank details ?
Yes it is a rip off as they take the money and dont do anything else.0 -

Why did your friend give them her card details if she wasn't expecting to pay for something?0 -
Expect more of her cash to go missing very soon and also to be plauged by bottom of the barrel loan sharks."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

Tell your friend to cancel her card immediately and stop any direct debits that may have been set up (did she give her card details or bank account?) Call the bank and put a block on them taking more. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

The warning on their website is odd:UK FInancials Ltd. don`t have any connections with UKASH VOUCHERS & 3V VOUCHERS
In case you have been charged by any one in name of UKASH , Please contact UKASH immediately to get your money back.
UKASH Contact No : 0808 234 6244 , E-mail ID : feedback@ukash.com
What's that about?
The important thing to remember when taking out a loan is that the lender should give you money. Not the other way around. :rotfl:0 -
