Question about DMP

Hi
Been lurking for a while but now I have a question.
I've just moved and I am on a DMP. I haven't yet changed this as it's a recent thing and still have access to post at the old address but do intend to.
There is no change to the budget, I will be paying out the same as I was before to cover gas/electric etc... (no moving costs)
Do the DM inform the creditors?
What happens when I change the address on the DMP?
The person I've moved with doesn't know about it, will they keep it all discreet?
I have read that they are not affected by my bad credit rating - that is so isn't it?
