Tesco-Double points on EVERYTHING in store

Anything and everything you buy instore this weekend, including fuel, is double points.

A good time to fill up the engine and do the big shop.

Don't quite know if that means quadruple points for us clubcard plus holders tho;)

Would it double the points on a till spit extra points voucher?

I have one for an extra 300 points for spending over £20 on a game. Would I get 600 points?

On the double points voucher from my clubcard statement, it does say:
"points from extra points promotions for extra points coupons are not included"

So it looks like that doesn't count, but not sure about the ones you get from the till.

Good time to buy all the Easter Eggs as the medium sized ones are all £1.49, BOGOF - the two creme eggs that come with the egg cost more than 75p - bargain!!

    What does this mean?

PM me if you cannot publicly elaborate.

A Tesco clubcard plus account ..........

You have to pay in money each month and then the clubcard plus is used lke a debit card. You also get double points on it.

So the other poster is enquiring whether the clubcard plus customers would also get double points, which in this case would be quadruple what the rest of us get normally and double what they get normally.

    Hope that makes sense. ;)

Apart from that..........I don't know is the answer! :D

I've just come back from Tescos and its horrendous! People are piling their trolleys high in the hope of a few extra points!!!! The extra points are on their petrol too - just incase anyone is tempted! (I guess they are trying to get some good publicity after all the recent bad PR!)

Mind you, I did get a 100 point till spit voucher too - I didn't think I would what with the double point thing on and it being a Saturday!

Could be that..............and also the predicted snow/blizzards for some parts of the country.

Some people stock up as if they are going to hibernate for 6 months! :rotfl:

Haha! Yes...that will be it! They had nearly run out of bread I noticed on their bakery section!!!!

Oh.....whilst I remember - they were doing some good deals on clothing - some items up to half price - think it might be a national thing as they had lots of stock! I bought a new pair of work trousers - were £20, now £10! Bargain!!!!

Wow. That wasn't advertised at all. I bought a couple of newspapers this morning and got 2 bonus points as well as the normal ones and couldn't work out where they'd come from. If only I'd known I'd have filled up with petrol when I was in town, but it's not worth going back now.

You only get double the ACTUAL points for the purchase spend.

eg spend £50, get 50 points as normal plus another 50 points.

I happened to be cashing in my Wine Club, Food Club and Quarterly Statement points vouchers today and can confirm these DO NOT get doubled. Sorry :D

Still managed to get an extra 400 points though.

I also used two double points vouchers (one Wine Club, one Food Club), so we shall see what happens with those! Will I get 2 x (50+50) twice or 2 x 50 twice ???
