Northern Rock give false hope on reclaiming PPI

Received a letter from NRAM PPI Review Team asking whether I had accepted their offer of all my loan PPI including interest, plus 8% statutory interest. Since I hadn't received the offer letter I phoned them feeling elated.
After 25 mins on hold I was told the letter had been sent out to 'lots of people' in error and that my case most likely hadn't even been reviewed yet. Absolutely gutted.....
