I had access a few days ago, clicked the button which said Pay and received a text to confirm that my loan was paid. A day later I received a letter saying that my loan was still outstanding. I checked my bank account, the money is still sitting in there, I've phoned for two days and 'they are experiencing a high volume of calls' and do not answer. So, not all PDL seem to want their money back in a hurry.
Sounds more like a computer glitch than the PDL not wanting its money.
Perhaps that's why they've written, reminding you the load is still outstanding? That may also be why their call centre is experiencing a high volume of calls.0 -
Report this company to the Financial Ombudsman. They are complete cowboys and will ruin your life. Use a non-cowboy lender.0

This cowboy lender really is the lowest of the low. I urge anyone that has had a bad experience with them to report their poor conduct and practices to the Financial Ombudsman.

Have you exhausted the Peachy Loans dispute path? I suspect the Financial Ombudsman won't be interested until you have. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

In these circumstances one should phone their bank to cancel the continuous payment authority with said loan shark.
Peachy would then not have been able to empty the bank account.
A standing order can then be set up to pay off the loan with Peachy based on current disposable income.
Peachy and the other loan sharks of their ilk will not levy charges for late payment if someone is in financial difficulty.
I wish posters on this site would actually give credible advice rather than boring everyone with their sanctimonious !!!!!!.
I note that 2 years on the sanctimonious !!!!! are still sanctimonious !!!!!0
