Mortgages - advice needed for future Ex Pat looking for a Buy To Let.

Hello everyone
New here so please be gentle
I lost my job in May. The good news is I have landed another job, which happens to be in the UAE.
I have a baby on the way so can't turn it down really as from Sept I'll have an extra mouth to feed
My mortgage is with Clydesdale and they have refused to give me consent to let.
So I want to change my mortgage to a Buy To Let and rent out my flat.
A broker found a deal for me with a bank which had a LTV of 85% and was an Ex Pat mortgage. All seemed fine.
I've now been declined because the mortgage doesn't cover the UAE (not many Ex Pats in the UAE, is there?)
They initially told me I'd been accepted. I leave for the UAE the end of this month and they've now left me with a week to get my flat on the market to sell it.
Unless... Anyone knows of a mortgage company who might be able to help?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards
Victor
