I've just checked my account and there's a charge for £12 for an apparent credit check, I'm sure I've not seen any charges to these before, I remember taking out a few checks this time last year but this looks like I've entered into some kind of subscription. I have just emailed them asking to explain the reason for the charge, any ideas on how I can claim money back or the type of agreement I have entered into, where I stand etc., thanks

When you signed up for one of the free 1 month subscriptions they advertise, you provided your card details and so when you didn't cancel the subscription they started charging you.impycunious wrote: »any ideas on how I can claim money back or the type of agreement I have entered into, where I stand etc., thanks
As you agreed to their terms and conditions and you forgot to cancel it, they are not at fault. It is your responsibility to check what you are signing up for.0
