I'm coming out of lurkerdom due to an "at risk of redundancy" induced lightbulb moment.

I'm setting my target at £4797.69 :eek:

Some is budgeted for (if I stick to the budget and actually pay it!) and £1914.07 is extra. I've no idea at the moment where the extra might come from, but, what the hey, I'll give it a go.

Also, as usual, I've gone bonkers on payday and overspent and am faced with severe penny counting to get through the rest of the month, so I need to try to break out of this vicious circle.

I didn't do any debt busting in my week away, although I didn't spend more than the cash I'd withdrawn for it (excluding filling up with petrol for my journey home).

I have however found myself exceptionally skint when I came home. I forgot about some ebay fees (sold a lot last month) which was part of it, then I don't think I factored in enough for petrol for the month plus a couple of other small things.

I will be doing something about my lack of money, but it does mean that I won't be making any further alterations to my overdraft before pay day.
