Student Overdraft Help!
Options
Hi there
I quit uni a year ago with a £1250 interest free overdraft with Natwest. I have been working for the past year however haven't managed to make a dent in this.
I have just had a letter through the post saying they will be swapping my account to a graduate account (I haven't informed them I have quit!(Stupid I know))
I'm desperate to get out of this overdraft situation... Do I tell natwest that I am not going to graduate and ask for a loan to pay it off or do I say nothing and apply for a graduate repayment loan???
Any help would be much appreciated
Regards
Tom

You are not eligible for a graduate account or a graduate loan. You will need to inform them of that. Either they'll switch your overdraft to a standard account, or they may recall the overdraft, in which case you'd presumably need to be request that they let you repay it in installments and work out how much you can afford to offer a month towards it.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
