Default on Cedit Report question
!
I had a Capital One Card that defaulted and was subsequently passed to Capquest to recover the balance. I have noticed on my Experian credit report that the default has been logged twice, once by Capital One and once with Capquest – is this right?
When the debt was passed to Capquest I set up a payment plan (last payment made last month – yay) and I didn’t default with them once.
Thanks

Even though you haven't defaulted with capquest the default should still be on your report but only once. You need to ask Capital one to remove the default as the debt (and default) has been sold onto Capquest. Make sure Capquest have the right default date though.Total Debt: £4610.75
Debt Free Date: May 2016.0 -
Thank you I thought it should only be logged once, not that it'll make a huge difference but every little helps.0
