I used this site once then it started sending me txt messages. I was getting charged money for it, sod that. I think it was around a fiver I ended up for receiving crap. I didnt realise I was getting charged for it until I got my bill
So something to be wary off
Another free way is to use yahoo widgets. Download yahoo widgets (free of course) then get hold of the CallWave widget
do a search on callwave widget then you know what Im talking about
I have used it to send txt messages around the world - all free and I know it works as I have verified it.

U need a yahoo account, well its freebie webbased one so anyname can do
u need to supply tel number in callwave, well I use a dummy UK one and dummy USA one, its needed as its sent as part of txt message
Note, there is some limit on the number of uses per day, I cant remember offhand:hello:

Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -
Yes, this site gives you the option to pay for text bundles costing around 5pounds.
As I dont need to send anymore than 3 per day, I did not sign up to buy any bundles and am not charged for anything.
I have a PAYG sim and I always run out of credit when I really need to get a message to someone... even if to ask them to call me. So this site has helped me out of a few sticky situations!!!

i signed up and tried to send a message but it wouldn't even send. it constantly said 'sending' but after 15 mins it still hadn't sent anythin. it has limits foe some operators but for others the person receiving a text pays standard rate. i'll give this one a miss0

I didnt sign up for any bundles, I got charged for receiving text messages from them - like "you have a new friend" crap
I signed up as a way to keep in touch with my cousin in USA but never really used it.:hello:
