Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone with an iphone/android phone uses any financial apps for budgeting, keeping a track on spending etc? Any recommendations for any good ones? I see theres quite a few, but do not really want to waste (more) time loading one with all the details for it not to work very well

I was using an app for a while but in the end I found it rubbish as it was too complicated to track when my direct debits came out etc.
Then I stopped logging spending as I was frustrated by it, it seemed too much hassle. Now I have set up my own spreadsheet.
It has a column for everywhere I owe money to and my current account balances and I update these figures twice daily. In the next column it has a spending log for each day of the month, and at the end a simple formula to work out my average spend per day. It also tracks the amount I can spend per day and automatically updates when I log my spending each day. It also tracks how much I have left over and I can use it to quickly see how next month is shaping up.
There are so many useful formulas on Excel, if you work in an office I'd recommend starting your own spreadsheet rather than relying on apps.Barclaycard: [STRIKE]£1042[/STRIKE] £433.41 (me) [STRIKE]£996[/STRIKE] £580 (ex-OH)
Target spend per month: £750
Current overspend: £130/month:eek:
Student loan: £[STRIKE]24,384.42[/STRIKE] £23,243.180 -
I use EEBA. Its is free on iPhone and Android.
Its an envelope system so you set up envelopes for everything you need i.e. groceries, travel, bills etc.
I have been using it for 3 months now and I really like it, each to their own though!0 -

I've been using iXpenseit for tracking my spending! Probably a bit over complicated for what I use it for, but it does the job!:starmod:Total Debt: £9012.33:starmod:
