Starprize gets money for referring you to competitions and getting you to click the links, they had a group on facebook where you enter the comp they post and they would send you 25p amazon for each one. Not that anyone received any vouchers though.

I also won 50p though, think I like it better than the mug

I also won 50p off Amazon. But they've just sent another one saying:

"Congratulations! Your entitled to Free Monster Headphones!...Claim your FREE Lumia Monster ® headphones worth up to £199"

I'm suspicious of the look of this company and don't really want to click on to find out - not least of which because they used "Your" instead of "You're". Would a legit company make an error like that?

Would be grateful for other's opinions - sorry Katie to hyjack your thread, didn't seem like worth starting a new one for. Hope you don't mind?

I saw something about Nokia giving away free Monster headphones when you buy a Lumia phone, so maybe it is referring to that and is just a misleading title?

I received both emails, I'm not going to click link, I agree it looks a bit dodgy.

Doesn't sound right to me blulu, 'entitled' to rather than won sounds like it is a scam. Have you entered a competition to win these headphones?

Thanks guys. How kind of you Flandot to go hunting for me I think I will pass on this too, same as Robyn. It just doesn't look like a proper WEM. And I don't remember going in for this comp, but then I have a fabulous fogettery

No worries - it rang a bell because I think I've received the same email a few times and I think I clicked it the first time and it took me to a page where you had to buy the phone to get the free headphones. There was me thinking I'd won something :o

I won a £3 Amazon voucher with them yesterday, which was supposed to be sent 'within the hour'. Still not arrived, will keep you posted.
