Considering BR/HMRC Question

Hi Everyone, Hope someone can help. Due to very bad accountancy advice back in '06 my daughter is being chased for a large amount by HMRC. It can be proved the amount she owes is but a fraction of that claimed. It is a very complicated setup that needs explaining in detail and HMRC have basically ignored attempts to explain the situation. We have been trying for almost a year to arrange a meeting which would benefit both sides. Apart from getting replies to letters from different people and departments, within HMRC who appear to ignore the requests we have achieved nothing. We have sent letters of explaination but it's to complicated.
Does anyone know how we could arrange a meeting with HMRC?
