Dairy-free milk chocolate

Does anyone have any simple recipes for making dairy-free milk chocolate? Son allergic to dairy missing out on so many treats!

I know there is carob and other substitutes but they are quite expensive, so I'd really like to try and make some of my own, using soya or some other kind of dairy substitute.

you can buy dairy free chocolate in most health food shops. He's not missing out - the best chocolate is high in cocoa and dairy free anyway - green and blacks, lindt etc. Also dairy free are after eights and raspberry ruffles!
To emulate mass produced milk chocolate i spose you would have to add loads of vegetable fat and extra sugar:(
Plamil do dairy free chocolate which i used to buy when i was a vegan. Our local health food store sells dairy free 'smarties'
