Help understanding my DMP and getting new credit

A little bit of help please....!
I am currently in a DMP and have been so for 10 years. I have 5 years left but a relatively small amount of debt in it (6k).
Now, I am wanting to finance a car. I have my (basic) bank account which has been run perfectly for 10 years. I have never missed a payment to my DMP either.
I obtained a Vanquis C/C 36 months ago and have in that time made 6 late payments through stupidness - never missed though. It is cut up and I dont use it (Skirting around 1k on there - within limit)
I also recently was credit searched for car insurance payments and passed.
I have a contract mobile phone which again, I've never missed a payment.
So! I have been trying to look at my credit report online but I dont have a card I can pay with - does anyone know of a way to look at it without having to mess around looking at the statutory report?
Also any advice about financing the new car? I want a Ford Fiesta, 3 years old ish - part exchange and a decent deposit - financing about 5k probably? Will my DMP show on my file given it has been more than 6 years since it started?
I dont want to be credit checked more than is necessary and I also dont want to get my hopes up!
Thank in advance!

My understanding was that you don't get anymore credit when on a DMP as this breaks the terms of it.
What is the point of taking on more debt when you haven't cleared your existing debts.:beer:0 -
As above, you have broken the terms of the DMP, if they were to find out may cancel it.
You have obviously not have your LBM and will continue in this way until you do.Official DFD: Dec 29Challenge DFD: July 23Debts Cleared: 1/13Building EF: £20/£600 3%0 -
I thought that taking on credit when in a DMP could put you at risk of being charged with fraud, I may be wrong I am newbie myself.ISA £1675

You are not permitted to take out more credit while on a DMP. If you took out the Vanquis card and didn't get caught, you have been stupid and lucky, and shouldn't ride that luck too much further. You could find yourself having all your creditors unfreezing interest because you broke the terms of the agreement. Don't risk it again.
If you can't afford a three year old Fiesta in cash, then lower your sights and save up for something else. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
