Do you know what I struggle with in all of this. I have dealt with many many parents who pay for childcare and have lost their job and the following has happened in 100% of cases

    1) They tell me - normally because they want to REMOVE their child temporarily as opposed to pay whilst not needed.

    2) They want to ask about if cutting hours to NEG only, or work out if they can reserve a space, the waiting lists if they got work again etc.

I have never came accross a parent who wanted to keep their child in their "pre -job" hours and pay (unless they won the lottery).

    So to my next point.

If you can afford to pay what is in effect approx £250 a month for the luxury of having your child looked after whilst you stayed at home, then surely you have no credit card or other debts. Why would anyone pay £250 a month that they can avoid?

Because if you had this convo with nursery - they would have informed you that your company were paying

I'm really confused, even if your ex employer continued to pay the vouchers, you have to click in your account to send to the nursery, it doesn't happen automatically. Maybe I have got it wrong, so sorry if I have. I hope you sort it out
