Can someone advise me

Hi there,

A couple of weeks ago I went to see a mortgage advisor. He asked what outgoings I had. it worked out in total I had about £200 a month to pay to debt, anyway, I have an argos card which I bought stuff on the buy now pay later so I dont pay any interest (and I do pay it off before the interest is added, but, I do wait until the last minute to pay), and I have a next directory which im afraid to say has about £600 on it.

Now at the time I didnt tell him about the argos card or the next directory (I havent filled out any forms), because I actually thought it would take a good couple of months for my house to sell, but, it only took a week. Do you think this will make a difference as in will they still give me a mortgage?

At the time, I told him the most we would want to borrow was £190,000 (the max we would be spending on a house would be £250,000, and we were putting down a £60,000 deposit), however, the mortgage we will need is only going to be £182,000.

The Argos will be all paid by June/July, and the next directory paid by May, and we are due to move into our new home on the 11th May.
Any advise would be grateful.

don't worry most lenders will ignore if less than 6 months left, alternatively they may reduce the amount of the mortgage down, but as you have already reduce by £8000 yourself you shoukd be ok.
