I recently moved and sent the above bozos a letter with new address, income and expenditure and an offer of payment. They responded by sending an income expenditure sheet to my new address, which I ignored as I assumed it must be an error, and didn't want to spend the extra money on a pointless stamp repeating myself. They have written back to me now demand I pay them 4 times my original offer, or they would have no choice but to recommend court action. Is this a common tactic of theirs? I will just be making the payments I offered them originally, won't that be enough, or should I re send them my original letter?

I have had dealings with them for a Barclays Loan and they were quite reasonable in accepting £20pm. I did, like you, send them a letter, but they also sent me an income and expenditure form and they accepted the offer I had made, sent me their bank details for a standing order and payments going through perfectly.
