Bank account in sequestration

Can someone assist me with the issue of getting bank account during sequestration process.

Firstly, do I need to get a new account as my current accoutn with HBOS has no lending facility, however, part of my sequestration does include a Halifax credit card.

Secondly, If I do have to set up a new account, is there a particular financial instituation who have accounts set up for this reason?

Not too sure on Scotland, but in England & Wales Halifax are very unfriendly and tend to close your account as soon as they are informed. The 2 bankruptcy friendly banks are Barclays and Co-Op.
