Payday loan company encouraging you to gamble

Just got this e-mail through from a company called 'PaydayWad'. Have to say I am totally disgusted. They are basically encouraging you to take out a payday loan so that you can have a bet on the footie! I don't mind the companies suggesting you take out a payday loan if you have some major unexpected expense or something like that - but this is truly disgusting.

Get a payday loan, bet it to try and win more, lose it all - then you are faced with months and months of having to pay back a loan with huge interest and huge fines. Surely this company should be banned?

It appears to be another desperate EasyLoans affiliate.

The T&Cs are served from EasyLoan's website and begin with this:
This web site is operated using broker technology provided by EasyLoans Ltd (registered number 6458556) whose registered address is 145 - 157 St John St, EC1V 4PW, London ("ELL" "we", "us", "our").

What the 'ell is ELL??? EasyLoans Limited?

EasyLoans is a broker. I'd be surprised if [STRIKE]suckers[/STRIKE] applicants got a loan. They're more likely to find their bank account the best part of £100 lighter.

I would hazard a guess that many a payday loan gets spent in the bookies, so they are just trying to make sure its then who get the loan rather than quickscam or wanka.

Anyone who actually takes out a loan to gamble with will already be in financial !!!!!! and be about as good as managing money as my pet parrot anyway.
  • Now, why would a first time poster drag up a 2 month old thread, just to add a link to the site in question?
Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%
